Kris Kristofferson
Had the pleasure of seeing Kris Kristofferson tonight at the majestic Tennessee Theatre. I wasn't really sure quite what to expect since he has a reputation of being, oh, unpredictable. But I gotta tell you, this was one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. Personable, humble and just utterly charming, Mr. Kristofferson managed to sound like he was playing in my living room. The Tennessee Theatre was also the last place that I ever saw Johnny Cash. Special place.

Nice Story
I'm no fan of the NBA. Haven't been for a long time. I don't enjoy how the game has evolved and the style of play and the pace of the games is boring to me. Not to mention the thug-life mentality of a lot of the league's players. But this story made me smile. Good on you, guys.
University of Tennessee Football update
Yeah, a lot has happened since I last posted and I won't try to rehash what most of you have already heard. But I think I'm gonna like this guy.
"He started the conversation by trying to talk me into coming back and before he got very far I told him I would be back. I didn't want to waste any more of his time because we have a lot of other guys that he needs to be working on."
